Hornsea Carnival is proud to be the largest and longest-running free carnival in East Yorkshire, organised entirely by a passionate team of volunteers. Often seen as the official start of summer, the Carnival takes place over three exciting days on the third weekend of July, attracting an average of over 25,000 visitors across the weekend. Running in its current form since 1967, Hornsea Carnival is firmly rooted in community spirit. The committee’s mission is simple: to bring people of all ages together for three unforgettable days of family fun, featuring live music, crafts, and creative activities for everyone to enjoy.
