The Winter Solstice Strider is a sister event to our popular 5 mile Summer Solstice Saunter. Runners have a choice on 5 or 10k and, of course at this time of year it's in the dark! The chip timed races start at the Sports Turf Research Institute in Bingley, and winds through the woods (and fittingly past Druids Altar) within the St Ives Estate. As usual with our solstice events, all participants will receive a fantastic bespoke medal this year. The event is sponsored by The Yorkshire Clinic and Warters & Co., and supported by our hosts at the STRI and the St Ives Golf Club, who provide a large proportion of the free parking that is provided for participants.
